The Criminal Mind
Do you ever wonder what people are thinking when they commit a crime? Normally, I don’t spend too much time thinking about it, but I had to ask the question after reading an article about Charles Ray Fuller last night.
This guy stole a check from his mother’s girlfriend. He went to Chase Bank and tried to cash it. While that behavior is stupid, it’s not unbelievable. The outlandish part is that he wrote the check for 360 billion dollars — yes, that’s right, 360 billion dollars.
Apparently, he made the check to “Fulla Comp and Entertainment,” the record company he wanted to start. The teller did a double take when she saw the check and notified the authorities. Fuller was arrested by police later. He had a gun and marijuana in his possession.
The NBC 5 article quoted his girlfriend’s grandmother, “I said, ‘Do what? Is he crazy? We were just in awe.” His girlfriend echoed the sentiment, “I didn’t think he’d do this, something this dumb. I think it shocked everybody that knew him.”
Maybe he should cut back on the pot.
This guy cracked me up when I heard about him. $360 billion to start a record company? That would make him the richest man in the world.
I mean, can you imagine the taxes on $360 billion?
