Times They Are a Changing

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned the possibility of changes on my job, and I am happy to report that those changes are now final.  I am moving into a newly created senior management role in the unified communications solutions marketing team. 

While this role is a significant departure from the traditional marketing positions I have held over the past 8 years, it is a great fit with my skillsets.  In addition, I will gain new skills in Web 2.0/Online Community marketing — very exciting!  I will also hold responsibilities for driving the UC PR strategy (deja vu, huh?). 

This change means I will be managing a new team.  Unfortunately, I have to say goodbye to my current direct reports, but I’m not going far, so we’ll stay in touch often.
