Weekend in Review
It’s Sunday evening which means it’s time for a quick “weekend in review”. So, here it goes:
- Friday: Enjoyed a nice, relaxing night at home with Gary.
- Saturday: Slept late (I love Saturdays!), performed household duties, and then spent the evening with the One Life young married’s group. We met up at Cheesecake Factory in Watters Crossing. Good food, great friends, and fellowship!
- Sunday: It was my day to sing on the praise team, so I had to be at church at 8 this morning for practice (ugh!). Jonathan Dean from POA led worship today (totally love him; he’s amazing) and T.F Tenney preached. We had an incredible move of God in both services, but things really exploded in the 2nd service. It was so powerful that we didn’t have a chance to stop for preaching which is rare. Jeff H. said it best, “words aren’t adequate”. God’s presence permeated the building. It was so strong and so real. He spoke volumes to me today; I am renewed, revived. It was fabulous.
I’m looking forward to the coming week. I’m only working two days, and then I’ll be off to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday. I can’t wait!
Have a great week, everyone.
